Libraries and Copyright - A Door of OpportunityOn 8 June 2005, the Norwegian Parliament passed new legislation opening up for a new and exciting relationship between rights holders and libraries and their users. The new legislation came into force on 1 July 2005. Read more in Kopinor's brochure. Kopinor was one of the sponsors of World Library and Information Congress, gathering more than 4000 delegates in Oslo, August 14.-18. 2005. On that occasion, Kopinor presented information about about Copyright Law and the relationship between rights holders and the library sector in Norway, and in particular about recent amendments to the Norwegian Copyright Act.
