The Copyright Society of Malawi (COSOMA) is a parastatal collecting society which manages various types of rights, and also combats piracy and undertakes certain tasks for the government. Kopinor is presently assisting COSOMA with the establishment of a reprography department. NORAD (Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation) supports the effort financially.
The pictures were taken by John-Willy Rudolph during a visit to Malawi in June 2000.
COSOMA's offices are located in this house in the capital of Lilongwe.
