From anniversary celebrations to conflict: You can now read Kopinor's Annual Report on our pages.
In 2005, Kopinor’s 25th anniversary was celebrated by a number of events in May, that concluded with a major international symposium. In November–December, negotiations and mediations with the Norwegian Association of Local and Regional Authorities broke down. Consequently, 2006 started with a ban on copying in schools and local government, which lasted more than three months.
Kopinor reported total revenues of NOK 195.0 million (USD 28.8 million, EUR 24.4 million) in 2005. Some 20 % of the remuneration we distributed pertains to foreign works and is paid to or set aside for foreign rightsholders.
